Uploading Photo to Facebook
Here are some tips to get the best results when uploading photos to Facebook:
1. 600×400 pixel, hires.
By default Facebook limits the photos to max 600×400 pixels. This means that if you upload photo bigger than 600×400pixels, Facebook uploader will automatically resize it to 600×400 pixels. The bad news is that Facebook uploader system is not as good as - for examples - Flickr or Picasa photo uploader. The result is the blurry and low quality of uploaded photo. :( So, what can we do about it?
Here’s the tips:
If you took the photos using digital camera or DSLR, resize the photo first to 600×400pixels hi-res resolutions (most likely you will not have to change your camera default resolutions), before uploading it to Facebook. This will minimize the compression damage done by Facebook uploader.
Note: This tips of course works best if you want to upload photos taken by digital camera/DSLR, not if you upload the pictures directly to Facebook from your handheld devices/handphones.
2. Flickr2Facebook
If you happened to have Flickr too, you can simplify photo uploading to Facebook using a plugin called Flickr2Facebook. By using this, once you have uploaded photos to Flickr, you can then just ‘transfer’ it to Facebook.
a. Go to http://www.keebler.net/flickr2facebook/ You will be asked to login to your Facebook account. Once you’re logged in, drag the bookmarklet link to your browser’s bar. This bookmarklet will be the trigger to transfer the photos from Flickr to Facebook.

b. Go to the Flickr photo you want to transfer to Facebook. Click on the bookmarket on the browser’s bar. An icon will appear above your photo. Click on the icon to transfer the photo.

c. You will be given the list of existing albums you have on Facebook to choose where the photo will be transferred to. For example, click on “Wall Photos”.

d. It will bring you to your Facebook page, with thumbnail of the photo you’re about to transfer. Check-mark on the thumbnail then click on “Approve Selected Photos” button.
