This and That (A Catch-Up Post)

Horeey.. sepertinya koneksi internet gue dah back to normal lagi nih. Kenapa gue bilang ’sepertinya’, karena I don’t dare to take it for granted juga. Udah dua minggu terakhir ini koneksi internet merem-melek nggak jelas. Browsing sih lumayan ok (tho’ I cannot say it’s fast ;)) The main problem was the up-stream. Masa ngirim email attachment 10kb aja nggak selesai2? Blah! Dah kontak ke IM2 mereka bilang problem ada di Kabelvision. Sinyalnya ada noise-lah, flooding-lah, etc-lah. Emang sih, teknisi IM2 udah datang dan ngecek ke rumah. Pas dicoba pake modem-nya mereka, eh lancar2 aja tuh. Huhuhuhu.. jangan2 gue musti ganti modem lagi… :(( Sebenernya dah siap2 mo bawa ke Kabelvision untuk ditest.. eh, tapi hari ini so far so good. So hopefully, it will stay that way.

Actually the last couple of weeks were not really good. :( First, that internet connection. Then, my laptop died without saying goodbye. Daym! I was about to speak on Godote.com Goes to Campus event at Binus with Marthin and Ade about a week ago, to talk about the collaborative working experiences. Just about 2 secs before I started, the screen went blank and there was no sign of life whatsoever. Luckily, had the backup of the presentation in my flashdisk, so we ended up using the student’s laptop then. Mmpfff.. musti dibawa nih besok untuk dicek.. :((

Anyway, not all is bad. Beberapa project udah pada selesai juga. IRF Annual Report, PrimeConsult company profile, e-Acehnias dan Itema udah beres dan tinggal finalizing aja. Some prospectives had also been followed up. Cross my fingers that some new projects will come within this week or two. Although, there was also a ghost from the past.. huhuhu.. Hopefully, it can be fixed by this Friday… :) And oh, another thing, me and Nina decided Digitalgrafis to do a pro-bono work to make a simple website for Adrian’s school, TK Mini Pak Kasur. Well.. just a tiny contribution to the community. :)

Humm.. what else? Oh yeah, invited to Vox! So, nambah lagi nih satu free account: Evenflow. That’s why I tested the Vox Crossposter plugin yesterday because the more you have the online journal, the greater the burden to post entries. Ha.. ha.. :P And another good links is Speedeasy, a free connection speed tester.
